Prior to joining Roper Saint Francis Healthcare, Dr. Albaneze dedicated his career to the United States Army, serving as an Army Surgeon and retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His distinguished military service was recognized with numerous honors, including the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and Army Achievement Medal. Today, he continues his mission of service by providing exceptional breast surgical care while volunteering through the Roper Saint Francis Foundation, supporting charitable initiatives that benefit patients and the surrounding community.

Throughout his career, Dr. Albaneze has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to excellence, integrity, and compassionate care. His accomplishments as a fellowship-trained Breast Surgical Oncologist, decorated military physician, and respected healthcare leader have earned him recognition among his peers and the patients he serves. Outside of medicine, he enjoys maintaining saltwater aquariums and values spending time with his wife of nearly 25 years and their three children.
